Washington State University
Washington State University Parking and Transportation Services (WSUPTS) went
live with AIMS in August 2005. WSUPTS manages annual online permit sales via
the AIMS web module and processes the permits in the AIMS Permit Request module.
The department uses 14 automated handheld devices to enforce the campus. Ticket data
is uploaded directly into AIMS where a custom interface exchanges vehicle and owner
information with Washington DOL and Data Ticket for out of state vehicle registrations.
Online ticket payment and ticket appeals are available 24/7. Other custom interfaces
include CORE One-Step POS system and several other University interfaces to gather
student and staff demographics. A variety of custom reports are used to manage permit
payroll deduction, wheel lock hot sheets, and enforcement productivity.

City of Santa Cruz, CA
The City of Santa Cruz went live with AIMS in November 2008. The City
issues its own parking citations and uses AIMS for managing vehicle owner
identification, citation billing, payments, voids and appeals. Online ticket
payments are processed via the AIMS Web module. Custom interfaces include
data exchange to the California DMV VPN for registered owner information
lookup and registration holds, real time interface with CORE One-Step POS
database, interface with legacy third party handheld ticket writing computers,
and billing letter export for outsourced printing & mailing services. The City
is also beginning to use AIMS to issue and manage city residential parking
permits as well in an effort to streamline that program.

Georgia Southern University
At Georgia Southern University, AIMS links a parker’s permits, citations,
boots, vehicles and financial information to a single customer record.
AIMS Ticketers issue parking citations and track boots/tows and temporary
permits are printed in-house. Billing statements are automatically generated
and emailed, payment is posted from any screen, and reports are provided.
AIMS Web+ is the campus population’s e-commerce portal for parking
ticket payments, appeals, permit purchase, self-serve waiting list and vehicle
registration.

University of Calgary
The University of Calgary went live with AIMS in May of 2008. The University
utilizes AIMS to manage a parker’s permits, citations, vehicles, billing,
payments, voids and appeals. AIMS Web+ has allowed the campus population
to utilize online functionality for ticket payments, permit purchase, vehicle
registration and more. Custom interfaces include real-time demographics
exchange with ID Core and data exchange to the AB DMV for owner information.

State of North Carolina
The State of North Carolina Parking Division replaced their legacy
parking system with AIMS in 2010 to more efficiently manage their
state employee and visitor parking program. The State Parking Division
uses AIMS to manage and track employee space assignments and visitor
parking. AIMS has automated the State Parking Employee’s payroll
deduction program for all parking fees and the State has begun enforcing
parking and tracking boots with the AIMS Ticketer for the first time in
its history.
