City of Syracuse, NY integrates AIMS Enforcement with Parkeon Whoosh! System. The City of Syracuse has utilized the AIMS system since 2002 for complete citation management from enforcement through DMV lookup, payment and collections.
With the advent of pay-by-cell technology, Syracuse upgraded their traditional AIMS Ticketers to the AIMS Mobile Enforcement App. All payments made through Whoosh! are linked to a license plate number and sent in real-time to the AIMS System. If the Parking Checkers do not see a meter payment on the vehicle, they use the AIMS system to check for Whoosh! payments during their enforcement activities all in real-time. Congratulations to the City of Syracuse for being the first City in North America to implement Whoosh!
